TLC Insiders Terms & Conditions

1. Promoter
The promoter of TLC Insiders and the associated Prize Draw is TLC Marketing Worldwide UK Ltd, 55 Baker Street, London, W1U 8EW ("TLC", "we", "our", "us").
For the purposes of UK data protection legislation, TLC Marketing Worldwide UK Ltd is also the Data Controller of the personal information collected as part of TLC Insiders.
Participation in TLC Insiders constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
2.1 TLC Insiders is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
2.2 Employees of TLC Marketing Worldwide UK Ltd, its group companies, agencies, suppliers and anyone professionally connected with the administration of TLC Insiders or the Prize Draw, together with members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to enter.
2.3 Participation is free and no purchase or payment is necessary.
2.4 Only one TLC Insiders registration and one survey submission per person is permitted. Multiple registrations, duplicate survey submissions or entries submitted using multiple email addresses may be disqualified.
3. Joining TLC Insiders
3.1 By joining TLC Insiders you agree to receive marketing communications from TLC Marketing Worldwide UK Ltd by email relating to promotions, surveys, offers, competitions, prize draws and other marketing activities.
3.2 Once you have successfully opted into TLC Insiders, you will receive a survey invitation by email within approximately 10 working days.
3.3 You may unsubscribe from TLC Insiders at any time by:
• clicking the unsubscribe link contained in any TLC marketing email or
• emailing privacy@tlcworldwide.com.
3.4 If you unsubscribe, you will cease to be a member of TLC Insiders and will no longer be eligible for any future Prize Draw entries from the date your unsubscribe request is processed. Any entries already used in previous monthly Prize Draws will not be affected.
4. Survey Qualification
4.1 The TLC Insiders survey consists of nine (9) questions.
4.2 All questions must be completed before the survey can be submitted.
4.3 Four of the survey questions include a "Prefer not to say" response option.
4.4 To qualify for entry into the Prize Draw:
• all survey questions must be completed; and
• at least two of the four questions containing a "Prefer not to say" option must be answered with a response other than "Prefer not to say".
If more than two of those four questions are answered using "Prefer not to say", the survey will still be accepted for research purposes but will not qualify for Prize Draw entry.
5. Monthly Prize Draw
5.1 Successful completion of the qualifying survey entitles the participant to one entry into each of the next twelve (12) consecutive monthly Prize Draws.
5.2 Each eligible participant may win a maximum of two (2) monthly prizes during those twelve Prize Draws.
5.3 The Prize Draw is an ongoing promotion and will continue until withdrawn by TLC.
5.4 TLC reserves the right to amend, suspend or withdraw TLC Insiders or the Prize Draw at any time where reasonably necessary.
6. The Prize
6.1 One winner will be selected each calendar month.
6.2 The monthly prize is:
• one digital gift card with a value of £250.
6.3 The gift card will be supplied through Prezzee.
6.4 Recipients will be able to allocate their £250 balance across participating retailers, supermarkets and experience providers available on the Prezzee platform at the time of redemption.
6.5 Available retailers and brands are subject to change and availability without notice.
6.6 Individual retailers' own terms and conditions, redemption rules, expiry periods and minimum denomination requirements may apply.
6.7 A Prezzee account is required to redeem the prize.
6.8 The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered except where TLC is required by law or determines it appropriate.
6.9 If, for reasons beyond TLC's reasonable control, the advertised prize becomes unavailable, TLC reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
6.10 TLC may, at its sole discretion, award additional runner-up prizes from time to time. Such prizes are entirely discretionary and are not guaranteed in any monthly Prize Draw.
6.11 Any costs associated with redeeming or using the prize, including internet access or taxes arising from receipt of the prize (where applicable), remain the responsibility of the winner.
7. Winner Selection and Notification
7.1 One winner will be selected on the last working day of each calendar month.
7.2 Winners will be selected at random using a computer-generated random selection process from all eligible entries.
7.3 Winners will be notified by email within seven (7) working days of the draw.
7.4 The notification email will include the participant's nominated "Win Word" to help verify the authenticity of the communication.
7.5 Winners must respond within 14 days of the date of the notification email to claim their prize.
7.6 During this claim period TLC will send:
• the initial winner notification email; and
7.7 If a winner does not respond within 14 days, the prize will be forfeited and TLC reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative eligible entrant selected in the same manner.
7.8 TLC's decision in relation to all aspects of the Prize Draw is final.
8. Invalid Entries
8.1 Entries must be submitted personally by the participant.
8.2 Entries submitted by third parties, consumer groups, syndicates or automated systems will not be accepted.
8.3 TLC reserves the right to disqualify any participant suspected of:
• using multiple identities;
• submitting duplicate entries;
• using automated software or bots;
• manipulating IP addresses or technical systems; or
• otherwise attempting to unfairly influence the outcome of the Prize Draw.
8.4 TLC may verify the validity of entries and participants and reserves the right to refuse or remove entries reasonably believed to be fraudulent or in breach of these Terms and Conditions.
9. Responsibility
Participants are responsible for ensuring that the contact details provided remain accurate and up to date. TLC accepts no responsibility where inaccurate or incomplete information prevents successful prize notification or fulfilment.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes TLC's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or any other liability which cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to the above, TLC shall not be liable for any loss, damage or expense arising from participation in TLC Insiders or the Prize Draw, or from acceptance or use of any prize, except where such liability cannot legally be excluded.
Participants' statutory rights are not affected.
11. Changes and Cancellation
If events beyond TLC's reasonable control prevent the proper operation of TLC Insiders or the Prize Draw, including but not limited to technical failures, fraud, acts of God, pandemics, industrial disputes or other unforeseen circumstances, TLC reserves the right to amend, suspend, withdraw or cancel the promotion where reasonably necessary.
Where possible, TLC will seek to minimise any disappointment caused to participants.
12. Data Protection
Personal information collected through TLC Insiders will be processed by TLC Marketing Worldwide UK Ltd in accordance with applicable UK data protection legislation and the TLC Privacy Policy.
Participants may withdraw their marketing consent at any time by unsubscribing. Doing so will end their participation in TLC Insiders and eligibility for future Prize Draw entries but will not affect entries already included in Prize Draws that have taken place prior to unsubscribing.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in connection with TLC Insiders or the Prize Draw shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
